DESCRIPTION

Start your day with an early pickup and transfer to a thrilling kayaking adventure along the legendary Chagres River, located on the Caribbean side of Panama. This historic waterway has carried more gold than any other river in the world—once serving as a vital route for transporting riches from South America to Europe.

Paddle for approximately three hours through the heart of the rainforest, surrounded by lush jungle and the sounds of tropical wildlife. As the river bends, a stunning sight awaits: the imposing Fort San Lorenzo, perched high on a cliff overlooking the river. This UNESCO World Heritage Site was once the stage for dramatic clashes between Spanish conquistadors, British admirals, and fearless pirates all vying for control of the treasure-laden trade route.

After the kayaking portion, enjoy a relaxing break followed by a scenic hike along the riverbanks. This area forms part of the Mesoamerican Biological Corridor, offering a unique chance to observe Panama’s rich biodiversity up close.

This unforgettable experience is also available in other destinations.
