El Valle

Morning transfer from Panama City -2 hrs drive- to El Valle located 600 meters/1,968 feet above sea level. El Valle is one of the largest inhabited volcanoes in the world (being about 2 miles wide). Here you will find golden frogs, square tres and exhilarating hikes among its attractions.

Once at El Valle you will go hiking, see the petroglyphs and waterfall. We will continue to visit the picturesque outdoor artisans market with a wide variety of handcrafts. Also, the valley is unique because of the weird square trees. It is believed that this strange anomaly of nature doesn’t occur anywhere else in the world.

Some optional activities are: Wet rappel or zip lining.

At noon we will stop for lunch at a local restaurant (lunch not included).

You will be back in Panama city at approx. 4:00 p.m.
