Turtle Nesting
There are seven turtle species in the world, Panama is home to 5 of those species. Each year between July and November, thousands of sea turtles make their way to various beaches along Panama’s coastline to lay their eggs.
With the help of our tour guide, as soon as the turtles are beginning the egg laying process, you will witness one of the most amazing event that nature has to offer, where each turtle begins to dig a hole in the sand where they can lay between 65 to 90 eggs in it, then they will cover each nest to protect them from the predators. In 60 days, we will have newborn turtles.
During this evening tour you will be able to be part of this amazing experience, seeing turtles coming out of the sea to lay their eggs, and see baby turtles hatching.
This tour is available in several beaches. For further information, contact us.
